Meet Nicola

Hello, and welcome to Rainbow Holistics.

At the heart of everything I do is something very simple: I genuinely care about people.

I’ve always had a natural instinct for looking after others. Before finding my way into holistic therapy, I worked in customer service, retail, I was a nursery nurse and worked in the care sector.

My journey into holistic therapy

When I was a little girl, my dad used to tell me that I had a talent for massage. At the time, I laughed it off and certainly didn’t think too much about it! Life got busy, as it does, and I went on to have my four beautiful children, my greatest achievement in life and something I’m incredibly proud of.

Much later, I found myself drawn towards holistic therapy through Reiki. That opened the door to a whole new world for me, and I went on to train in massage.

And I absolutely fell in love with it.

A space to feel comfortable

My beautiful garden treatment space is called Nicky’s Wellness Retreat, and it’s a place where I want you to feel completely at ease.

I understand that coming for a treatment can sometimes feel like a big step. Your privacy and confidentiality are incredibly important, and my aim is always to create a warm, welcoming and safe environment where you can relax, be yourself and take some time for you.

What makes me different?

People sometimes ask me what makes me different, and if I’m honest, I’m not sure there’s one particular answer.

I just genuinely care.

Whether you come to me once or become a regular visitor, I want you to receive the same level of care, attention and enthusiasm every single time, as though it were your very first treatment.

I’m a naturally bubbly and funny person. I love my family and friends, I enjoy exercising, I love a good dance and, most of all, I love having a laugh.

A family business

My daughter Jane has been a therapist for 20 years, and my daughter Gemma began her own journey with me six years ago, when she started training with me.

Come as you are, take some time for yourself, and let me take care of you for a while.
